What are peoples views on Irish Cricket at the moment?

Do Musnter get enough recognition from the ICU?
Should there be an Irish League?
Should the inter-pro series be re-introduced?

Are the ICU right to employ over-seas professionals?

Should Munster players get a look-in on the development squad?

I think the re-introduction of the Interpro's would be beneficial to Munster cricket. It gives the players a chance to gauge their ability against the top players in the country and also gives exposure to Munster cricket as it seems they have been forgotten by the ICU. Just look at the Cricketeurope site where the bias is on cricket in the North. The Muster section is still there but there is no link to it to be found.

An Irish league would be a great step forward for producing more international players but would be very hard to run alongside individual provincial competitions, given the season is so short.

With regards to the over-seas players...Ireland beat world-class sides without their help, the should be able to handle county sides without them. The just fly in the morning of a match and play: no coaching, training or publicity work...a waste of money. Just look at the Jesse Ryder saga.
