On a misserable day generally, Harlequins was damp and misty. Cricket was not really on the agenda at any point but play did eventully start at about 2pm, with Quins captain Phil Russell winning the toss and electing to bat. The Quins openers of Liam Hale and Robin Russell (Robin fresh back from his Ireland U13 duties) did well in the murk until the umpires called it all off over half a dozen or so overs.



A lengthy wait then ensued before a bowl out was decided upon. Both teams lines up their 11 playes and each player bowled one ball at the stumps. The net result was a Quins victory by a scoreline of 3 hits to 1 - the accurate players being Liam hale, Joe O'Mahony and Dave O'Leary.
