The first team proved far too strong for an under strength second team on Sunday. Both were sides playing their second league match of the weekend & the superior fitness of the firsts really showed especially in the second half. Mark Black, who was unavailable on Saturday, returned for this game. Conor Harte missed out through an injury he picked up the previous day. David Egner scored a superb first half hat trick (1 min, 12 mins & 34 mins) with David Eakins scoring from the penalty spot (32 mins). Killian Deasy had given the seconds some hope when he scored with a powerful strike from a short corner (26 mins). In the second half the firsts scored 5 more times through Richard Gash (2 mins & 4mins) with his second goal being the best of the match, Mark Black (19 mins - corner), Philip McLaughlin (21 mins) & David Egner scored his 4th of the game (28 mins). The seconds fought really hard throughout & Wesley Bateman made two excellent saves from David Deady.
