Quins firsts got the better of the seconds with a very strong second half performance to qualify for the Peard Cup Final. The seconds played particularly well in the first half with Rob Hobbs, Philip O'Driscoll & Chris Daunt in outstanding form. A David Eakins special from a short corner in the 7th minute of the second half broke the deadlock. Within a minute a sharp finish from Richard Gash made it 2 nil. In the 55th minute Mark Black scored from a well disguised short corner move. Richard Gash scored the goal of the game in the 60th minute with a powerfully controlled reverse stick strike. Four minutes from time Mark Black scored from close range & David Egner completed the scoring in the final minute.
