Quins ran out comfortable winners of this league game played in constant heavy rain. David Egner scored from close range after just 2 minutes play. In the 8th minute John Hobbs scored with a powerful corner finish. Then Eaks goal bound hit a defender on the line & he scored from the resultant stroke (15 mins). In the 30th minute from another short corner Eaks scored with a well directed drag flick. In the 33rd minute Philip McLaughlin, recently returned from injury, got on the end of an excellent passing movement involving David Egner & Paul Lombard, and his first time finish gave the keeper no chance.

John Hobbs scored his 2nd when he touched home at the far post within 4 minutes of the second half. In the 16th minute Philip McLaughlin benefited from some superb skills by Brian Hayes Curtin & Philip scored from very close range. Richard Leonard scored his first goal for the first team in the 21st minute. Mark Black scored the final goal with a strong run & calm finish in the 32nd minute.
