This game was played very late on Sunday evening in Bandon, 4.30 p.m. to be exact! Quins opened the scoring from the first corner with Jason Black touching home from close range. David Lombard scored the second six minutes later with an excellent reverse stick shot from the top of the circle finding the bottom corner of the goal. David Egner scored the third goal in the 16th minute with a fine finish from the top of the circle. Quins continued to attack & Paul Lombard was rewarded for his superb work rate with an excellent strike from play in the 18th minute. David Eakins scored a penalty stroke in the 27th minute after a penalty corner hit a defender on the line. Jason earlier had an opportunity from the stroke spot but his effort was high & handsome - it was last seen heading towards Clon! John Hobbs scored with a drag flicked corner in the 29th minute & Mark Black, also from a corner, completed the scoring in the 33rd minute.
