Quins bowed out of this seasons ISC when they were beaten 2-1 by a very determined Glenanne team. The home side began strongly & put Glenanne under a lot of pressure in the first 10 minutes. However, despite this strong start Quins found themselves a goal down after 12 minutes when Glenanne scored from a short corner. Quins responded well & could have equalised when John Hobbs short corner fell to Mark Black but he put the ball wide from close range. Shortly afterwards John Aherne's clever reverse stick pass found David Lombard in the circle but his shot went wide of the post.

In the second half Quins continued to press against a very well organised Glenanne defence but a swift counter attack 10 minutes from time put Glenanne two ahead. Quins threw everything into attack after this setback but only managed to get one back four minutes from time. Richard Gash was fouled in the circle, following a strong run, & a stroke was awarded by the umpire. David Eakins put away the stroke but it was a case of too little too late.
