This was a very ill tempered game which didn't do anything to promote the game of hockey. There were regular stoppages due to foul play & body checking which resulted in a game with little or no flow.

In the first half Quins completely dominated possession but failed to produce a goal in spite of numerous scoring chances. The second half was something similar with Quins finally opening the scoring 10 minutes from time. David Lombard's pass was excellently deflected past the keeper to the goal by Edward Gash. In the 28th minute a slick corner was finished with aplomb by John Hobbs. The final goal was scored by David Lombard who was on the end of a very good passing movement to finish from close range.
