Quins scored a good win away to Trinity in a very exciting game in Santry. Both sides pressed forward early on & Quins opened the scoring through Eaks after 8 minutes. Philip O'Driscoll found Paul Lombard with a fine pass & Paul's ball into the circle was flashed to the back of the net with a powerful strike by Eaks. In the 16th minute Jason's long ball found David Egner & he beat the advancing keeper to make it two nil.

In the early stages of the second half Trinity were on the offensive but the Quins rearguard held firm. A fine run & pass by Jason to David Egner put Dave in for his second of the game after 22 minutes. Two minutes later Eaks made it four with a crisp corner finish. A lapse in concentration allowed Trinity in to score a couple of minutes later. Eaks scored two more corners in the 34th & 35th minutes to made the final score 6-1.
