Quins gave a very good performance, when winning in Limerick on Sunday. Institute put up very stubborn resistance & fought very hard, especially in the first half. Edward Gash was unlucky not to score after 10 minutes when his powerful rising shot was brilliantly touched over the crossbar by the Institute keeper. David Eakins scored with his first corner attempt to open the scoring after 17 minutes. In the 29th minute Eaks scored again with another fine corner finish.

Ducks scored a superb individual effort with a mazy dribble & powerful shot in the 13th minute of the second half. Next David Egner scored an excellent hat trick in the space of three minutes (21,22 & 23 minutes) with three fine finishes, all from play. Before the end there were two goals from Jason (29 mins) & John Hobbs (33 mins) both from well worked corners.
