Quins had a very comprehensive victory over Belvedere in the MSC semi-final at Ballincollig. A very bright start had Quins 3 goals to the good within 9 minutes. Edward scored the first two after 2 & 6 minutes when he got on the end of two fine passing movements. David Egner was on hand to finish a corner to the goal after nine minutes. David Eakins scored from a penalty stroke on 16 minutes. Eaks scored again in the 20th minute with a sharp corner finish. David Egner completed the first half scoring in the 34th minute.

In the second half Edward completed his hat trick when he touched home Phil O'Driscoll's pass in the 12th minute. A minute later & Eaks completed his hat trick when he drilled the ball home from close range. Eaks scored another corner in the 18th minute & Paul Lombard complete the scoring 3 minutes from time.
