U.C.C. opened the scoring after just 2 minutes when some very slack defending allowed Lenny in to score with a fine finish. Quins eventually settled down & took the game to U.C.C. but despite creating many opportunities failed to take advantage until very late in the half. In the Ducks deflected Eaks excellent pass to the goal.

In the second half Quins played with a lot more urgency and this increased tempo allowed the creation of many more opportunities. John Hobbs scored from a well worked corner after 17 minutes. David Egner scored the third with a strike on goal after 20 minutes & completed the scoring when he deflected Edward's pass home in the 29th minute.
