Quins headed to Waterford early on Saturday morning for this league game minus the injured David Eakins. Quins emerged with a very good victory and attacked the Waterford goal from the off. Two early goals which were scored by David Egner (10 mins) & David Lombard (11 mins) set the trend for the game. Edward scored the 3^rd goal after 22 minutes with a sharp finish. The best goal of the game was scored by Sean Nicholson who took the ball on the run, rounded the keeper & drilled the ball to the back of the net (31 mins).

Into the second half & Paul Lombard opened his account with a fine finish over the advancing keeper. Sean should have scored in the 22^nd minute but his goal bound shot was stopped by a defenders foot on the line. Paul Lombard confidently converted the resulting stroke. In the 28^th minute a fine passing movement involving David Egner & David Lombard was touched home at the far post by Sean. Rob Hobbs completed the scoring in the 29^th minute. It was his first goal for the team.
