In a very exciting game Quins failed to make the most of their opportunities & lost out in a penalty shoot out. Quins opened the scoring with Richard Gash getting a deft touch, to Paul Lombard's free hit, giving the keeper no chance. CofI equalised 10 minutes later from a penalty stroke.

Into the second half & Quins took the lead when Colm Brady's pass, following some fine play, was finished to the goal by Richard from close range. CofI equalised 15 minutes from time when the ball was forced home from close range. Ducks had a great chance a couple of minutes from time but his shot was well saved.

Extra time failed to produce a goal & CofI took the league title in the penalty shoot out.
