Quins beat a very well organised & determined Bandon team 2-0. Early in the game a couple of lapses in concentration allowed Bandon chances from which Wesley pulled off two fine saves. Quins dominated possession but were very wasteful in front of goal. The corners didn't appear to be a slick as normal & a number of good chances were squandered. The Bandon keeper was also in very good form & made some excellent saves.

Quins began the second half with a lot more purpose & Eaks scored with an excellent corner after 3 minutes. At this stage Bandon had everyone back & space was at a premium. The passing & possession was a lot better at this stage & many chances were created. A missed penalty stroke & a disallowed short corner kept the pressure on. In the final minute Eaks made sure of the points with a tremendous short corner strike.
