Quins made a very positive start to this game & scored after 2 minutes. David Eakins strike at goal was saved by the UCC keeper & Richard was on hand to pick up the rebound & score. Quins played with great purpose & slick passing to put a lot of pressure on UCC. The second goal was scored after 12 minutes with an excellent short corner from Eaks. He added another goal from a corner after 22 minutes. Ducks scored with a fine shot from the top of the circle in the 26th minute. The 5th goal was the best of the game. Following a sweeping move from deep in the Quins half, Eaks scored with a cracking shot.

In the second half Quins continued to dominate possession but failed to score.
