Quins opened the scoring after 5 minutes with a powerfully struck short corner by John Hobbs. The second goal was scored by Richard Gash with his shot across the keeper finding the bottom corner. This goal followed an excellent passing movement & was scored on 16 minutes. A Sean Nicholson short corner strike made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes.

In the second half Quins continued to play at a decent tempo but failed for a while to take advantage of the opportunities created. A brilliant run from Richard Gash in which he beat a number of players, ended with a pass to Locky & he touched home from close range in the 25th minute. A minute later & Locky, showing very quick hands, picked a rebound from the keepers pads to score. Jason scored from a short corner in the 31st minute & the scoring was completed a minute later when Richard deflected David Egners superb crashed pass to the roof of the net.
