In very wet conditions at Garryduff on Saturday Quins began this match with a lot of purpose. David Eakins opened the scoring after 7 minutes when he beat a number of defenders with tremendous stick work before calmly placing the ball wide of the keeper to the goal. One minute later & a passing movement involving at least half a dozen players was finished with a goal by Edward Gash. Three more goals were scored between the 17th & 26th minutes, with two deflections by Edward & a short corner from Eaks.

Into the second half & in the 11th minute Locky increased the score when he showed a lot of composure to flick the ball over the keeper to the back of the net. Edward brought the final tally to eight with two close range finishes in the 14th & 30th minutes.

This game was also notable for Wesley's return after injury to the starting line-up for the first time this season.
