Quins opened the scoring after seven minutes with a superb goal from Edward Gash. Paul Lombard played a long pass, which Edward took cleanly, turned a defender & blasted a shot to the net from top of the circle. Ducks made it two goals five minutes later when he took a pass from Edward & with a reverse stick shot best the Limerick keeper from close range. Wes was in fine form in goal & made three very sharp saves in the first half. Edward scored again in the 20th minute, as he made no mistake with his finish from close in.

In the second half Quins scored a fine goal after three minutes. John Hobbs was fouled deep in the Quins half & took a very quick free. His pass found Ducks & he found Richard Gash with precision pass. Richard advanced & rounded the keeper before finishing to the goal from close range. Edward completed the scoring & his hat trick with a good shot five minutes from time.
