Quins bounced back to winning ways with a storming last 15 minutes. Dave Curtin opened the scoring after 10 minutes following tremendous approach work from Andrew Kerr. The passing & movement in the team was really good at this stage but a couple of very good scoring opportunities were spurned. CofI stepped up their play at this stage & deservedly equalised after 25 minutes. Quins were really on the back foot for the last 10 minutes of the half & did well to turn over on level terms at half time.

A tactical move at half time which brought Kevin Cullinane into midfield proved inspirational. Quins went into the lead after 7 minutes of the half but C of I equalised within 5 minutes. Kevin Cullinane made a powerful run into the circle & scored with a cracking shot to put Quins 3-2 to the good 18 minutes into the half. From there on to the end Quins scored 5 more times. The pick of the goals were scored by Andrew O'Sullivan following a tremendous run & pass from Andrew Whittaker & one by Eoin Kennedy following a sweeping move up the pitch. Andrew O'Sullivan top the scorers list with a magnificent hat trick.
