Fundraising
Dear Harlequins Community,
On behalf of the Fundraising committee I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you all for your support over the last year. I think you will agree that the effort and hard work really has been worth while.
I want to especially thank my committee:
Alan O’ Driscoll, Claire Bergin, Diane Haly Buckley, Rob Hobbs, Rachel McSharry, Cliodhna Sargent, Vanessa Sargent, John Hobbs, Stephen Dale, Sean Nicholson, Dave Egner, Moray Russell and Elinor Gordon.
Without the huge effort put in from all of the above our club would not have survived this season.
I also wish to give huge thanks and appreciation to the Ladies Vets Section who have run the most profitable event of the year – The Vets Festival.
For all the baking, all the time and effort, for the sponsorship and anyone who has given up a day to help out, we simply can’t thank you enough.
Looking forward I know that this is an on-going struggle and that we need to maintain our fundraising in order to stay operational. With this in mind I feel it is vitally important to welcome new members onto our committee. Please, if you could help us out it would make the difference – we urgently need fresh ideas and fresh faces! It’s time to give something back – to ensure the survival of our beloved club. Please contact me at suzanne_black@hotmail.com if you feel you can or want to help.
The last year has been thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding,
Looking forward to the same in the year ahead,
Suzanne Black
